![]() ![]() ![]() Even when surprised, his movement (3 forward, 1 backward) allows him to be at his favorite spot in "only" 1 turn (a Hellion/Plague Doctor/Leper/etc can't always say the same). Moreover, unlike the Leper, his moveset allows him to hit an enemy wherever he is, and his utility skills can be used from anywhere. That means that even on round 1, he'll always be able to make his opponent bleed before he plays (unlike the Plague Doctor), since the front rows are usually way slower than the back rows.Īdding to this the fact that the Flagellant can second as a stress reliever AND healer AND tank gives him ridiculous utility in a team. ![]() His "main" attack adds 6 bleeding damage and has a range of 1-3, which is simply amazing, because the Flagellant is as fast as a Plague Doctor or a Jester. The problem with that is that (i think) the Flagellant isn't supposed to directly deal huge damage like the Crusader, but instead make his enemies bleed to death, like the Plague Doctor does with blight. It's unrealistic to think your flagellant will get all those buffs for the whole dungeon, but it's also unrealistic to think that he won't benefit of at least 1 of those for most fights if you want to (which doesn't imply that much risks with the correct team and/or trinkets), making his overall raw damage output at least significant and, at best, great. But with his buffs, he can get up to +65% damage, boosting those to 8-18, making him almost as strong as a Hellion or a Crusader (both have 10-19 damage). His damage aren't great, but he can get a ridiculous amount of buffs (-38% HP, Death door and Rapturous) to change that.Īt max level his damage is 5-11, which is clearly bad. Although he helps a ton dealing with the bloodsuckers, he is, in my opinion, way too strong. I'd like to know what you guys think about the Flagellant. ![]()
